By way of introduction, I (Robert L. Lewis, Esq.) am a Personal Injury, Estate Planning and Criminal Defense Attorney.

Early in my career, I worked in manufacturing. It was during this time that I began to understand the hazards associated with an unsafe workplace, which in large part was driven by an over emphasis on profit and productivity; and, an under emphasis on establishing and maintaining a Safety Management System. To that end, strict adherence to safety standards helps organizations maintain a safe workplace for their employees. Hazards when not properly mitigated have led to numerous workplace injuries and for the most unfortunate, even death. One of the persons who fell victim to an unsafe workplace was a friend of mine.

While in law school, I had the great fortune to garner experience as a prosecutor in a Municipal Court under Georgia’ Third Year Practice Act. During this time, I was exposed to the intricacies of the Criminal Justice System, some of which were very, unfortunate. Needless to say, this inspired my passion to advocate for those who were not guilty of a crime, and those who lacked access to competent, zealous and affordable legal counsel.

Last, I understand the feeling of uncertainty when a family member's last wishes were not put in writing, or their estate is tied up in an unnecessary and costly probate battle, or worse, their end of life medical needs and concerns have not been adequately addressed. These are challenges that we will all face.

To that end, my firm aggressively counsels, advocates for, and represents, those who have been injured, those who have been wrongfully charged or convicted of a crime, and those who have worked hard to build a legacy which they would like to see distributed according to their final wishes.
